What we collect

• Searches you type (ZIP codes, cities, radius) are processed in your browser and not sent to us, except street addresses, which are sent through our server to the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder to find a match. We don't store addresses.
• Your location, if you use "What ZIP code am I in?", is read by your browser with your permission and stays on your device.
• Analytics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless) and Google Analytics to count visits and see which tools are used. Google Analytics sets cookies; where required, it waits for your consent.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site.
• Email. If you email us, we keep your message to reply.

Advertising

If we show ads, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Some links go to partner sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can block cookies in your browser and still use every tool. Residents of some states have rights to access or delete personal data; email hello@zipcodemap.org and we'll respond.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data.
